Prices and billing
The MegaEase Cloud platform provides a set of basic quotas (features and capacity) for users to use for free by default. If the free plan cannot meet their needs, users can consider two options to obtain more quotas: upgrading to a paid plan or purchasing additional quotas.
The payment method used by the MegaEase Cloud platform is prepaid, and the billing cycle is monthly.
This article will introduce users to prices and billing-related information in MegaEase Cloud.
Tenant balance
Each tenant will have a balance account to perform payment and deduction operations related to that tenant. Currently, the operations involved include upgrading to a paid plan, purchasing additional quotas, and monthly billing deductions.
Users can view their tenant balance by accessing the corresponding page through the Billing - Plans and Usage menu.

The balance account is initially set to 0, and users can top up their account at any time as needed (such as when they first start using the service or if there is a balance due). When topping up, users can choose a fixed amount or enter a custom amount.

Users can click the History button next to the Balance to view the history of their balance usage and other associated information.

The
green positive valueindicates an increase in the balance (top-up), while thered negative valueindicates a decrease in the balance (deduction).
Paid plans
A paid plan is a package that includes a set of quotas (features and capacity). Compared to purchasing quotas separately, a paid plan offers a bundled discount, which is more economical.
According to different needs, the platform has pre-set three paid plans: Free, Standard, and Advanced. Each plan contains different quotas, and users can choose according to their own needs.
Users can view their current paid plan by accessing the corresponding page through the Billing - Plans and Usage menu.

The platform will assign the
Freeplan as the default value for each tenant. As the name suggests, theFreeplan is free to use and includes a set of basic quotas.
If the quotas included in the current paid plan do not meet the user's needs, they can click the Compare All Plans or Change button to view and upgrade to other paid plans.

- The upgrade operation takes effect in real-time. The system will calculate the amount to be paid based on the price difference between the target plan and the current plan, as well as the remaining time in the current billing cycle. The amount will then be deducted from the tenant's balance.
- The images are for reference only. The actual values are based on the real-time displayed values in the user interface when the user performs the operation.
If the quotas included in the current paid plan exceed the actual usage needs, users can choose to downgrade to a lower-tier paid plan. They can click the Compare All Plans or Change button to view and switch to other paid plans.

Note: Downgrading a paid plan does not take effect immediately, but will take effect from the next month onwards, and the billing will be based on the new plan from the next month.

Additional quotas
When users need more quotas (features and capacity), they can choose to purchase additional quotas separately in addition to upgrading their paid plan. This method is more suitable for scenarios where only specific features or specific capacity needs to be increased.
Currently, all quotas related to paid plans can be purchased separately. The paid plan is just a discounted package for the included quotas.
Users can view their available and used quotas by accessing the corresponding page through the Billing - Plans and Usage menu.

Quotas are divided into two parts:
Add-onsandUsage. TheAdd-onsincludes some functional switches, while theUsageincludes information such as capacity and duration.
Users can increase their quotas by clicking the Enable or Add More button.

- Adding quotas takes effect in real-time. The platform will calculate the amount to be paid based on the additional capacity, the remaining time in the current billing cycle, and deduct the amount from the tenant's balance.
- The images are for reference only. The actual values are based on the real-time displayed values in the user interface when the user performs the operation.
Users can also reduce their purchased quotas by clicking the Edit - Remove Seats button.

Note: Downgrading (reducing) quotas does not take effect immediately, but will take effect from the next month onwards, and the billing will be based on the new quotas from the next month.

Technical support
During the use of the platform products, if users want to obtain fast and high-quality technical support, they can subscribe to our Technical Support service.
Users can view the current status of the "Technical Support" service by accessing the corresponding page through the Billing - Plans and Usage menu.

Users can subscribe to the technical support service by clicking the Enable button.

- Enabling technical support takes effect in real-time. The platform will calculate the amount to be paid based on the total price, the remaining time in the current billing cycle, and deduct the amount from the tenant's balance.
- The cost of technical support includes two parts (the actual cost may vary and is subject to the displayed value at the time of purchase):
- The cost of technical support for the quotas included in the current paid plan, which is a fixed cost.
- The cost of technical support for the additional quotas purchased outside of the current paid plan is 10% of the total price of all additional purchased quotas.
Users can also disable the technical support service by clicking the Edit - Disable button.

Note: Disabling the technical support service does not take effect immediately, but will take effect from the next month onwards, and the billing will be based on the new situation from the next month.

Billing
There are two types of billing methods for paid items such as upgrading a paid plan and purchasing additional quotas:
- For the first purchase, the payment will be deducted immediately, and the equivalent cost from the current date to the end of the month will be deducted.
- Starting from the next month after the purchase, automatic prepayment will be made at the beginning of each month for all subscribed paid items (including paid plans, additional quotas, and technical support).
Some important notes regarding billing:
- The tenant's balance will be used by default for payment, so please ensure that the balance is sufficient.
- If the tenant's balance is insufficient during automatic payment, the balance will be deducted to a negative value, and the tenant will enter an
arrears status. - If a tenant enters an
arrears statusand does not renew (top-up) continuously, the platform will perform aforced recovery operationon the tenant at the beginning of the next month. - The
forced recovery operationmay involvecanceling subscribed contentandfreezingorreleasingused resources.
Users can access the corresponding page through the Billing - Plans and Usage menu to view the next payment amount in advance. Users can also view all paid items and their costs on the page.

Users can go to the BILLING - Order page to search and view the specific billing orders and details.
